Dr. Parisa Hakimzadeh, DO

Dr. Hakimzadeh completed medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 1998. She then moved to Connecticut where she completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut. Upon completion of her residency she was asked to stay on as a Chief Medical Resident. Thereafter she attended the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where she completed a fellowship in Nephrology, Hypertension and Electrolyte disorders. During fellowship Dr. Hakimzadeh was trained in the many aspects of clinical Nephrology including post transplant care. Since finishing fellowship Dr. Hakimzadeh has been practicing Nephrology in Central NJ (where she grew up). Dr. Hakimzadeh is board certified in Nephrology. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Manakan Betsy Srichai, MD

Dr. Srichai completed medical school at West Virginia University in 1998 where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She then moved to Cleveland, OH where she completed her Internal Medicine residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland/Case Western Reserve University. She completed her nephrology fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville and subsequently joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University. During her time at Vanderbilt, she investigated and researched mechanisms of repair from acute kidney injury using animal and cell models as well as cared for kidney patients in the clinical setting. She moved to New Jersey in 2010 and joined the practice in September 2010 where she actively manages patients in the outpatient, inpatient and dialysis settings. Dr. Srichai is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology and participates in Maintenance of Certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Primabel Gina Obias, MD

Dr. Obias has been a physician for 30 years, the last 25 of which she has spent specializing in the field of Nephrology. Dr. Obias manages acute and chronic kidney diseases, fluid and electrolyte abnormalities, dialysis, hypertension and the prevention of kidney stones. She has an extensive practice assisting women with blood pressure management issues during pregnancy. Dr. Obias attended the University of the Philippines College or Medicine after completing her Bachelor of Science Zoology degree. She came to the United States to pursue her Internship and Internal Medicine residency at the North Shore University Hospital – Cornell Medical College in Manhasset , New York . She entered a dual Internal Medicine residency program with the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She moved to New Jersey In 1998 soon after completing her Fellowship in Nephrology at the North Shore University Hospital – New York University School of Medicine. She has been a practicing Nephrologist in the Somerset area since then. She is a Board Certified Nephrologist participating in Maintenance of Certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Kobena Dadzie, MD MPH

Dr. Kobena Dadzie completed medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ in 2007 as well as completing his Masters in Public Health specialized in Health Education and Behavioral Science. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ Robert Wood Johnson for which he was awarded Best Resident Teacher and Outstanding Physician Role Model Awards. He then went on to practice Internal Medicine at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood NJ before moving to New York where he completed his Nephrology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital. Dr Dadzie is a clinical nephrologist and was trained to manage and treat numerous forms of Acute Kidney Injury, Chronic Kidney
Disease, Hypertension, Glomerular Disease, Fluid and Electrolyte disorders and others. Dr Dadzie is double board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology.  He has been a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the American Medical Association.

  • In response to the COVID-19 pandemic our office is following guidelines from New Jersey Department of Health.

 

  • We are taking all precautions possible to protect our patients and staff. This includes frequent disinfection of the waiting room and patient exam rooms In between patients.

 

  • Face coverings in our office are optional and no longer required. Should you request our staff and physicians wear a mask, we are more than happy to comply to make sure you and your family members feel safe.

 

  • If you are sick or feeling ill, we ask that you wear a mask and may possibly ask you to reschedule your appointment or do a Telehealth visit.
